Our group believes strongly in making new technologies available to others and one excellent way to achieve this is through commercialization efforts. In many instances this occurs through partnership with a company and applying for SBIR grants, on which the lab performs part of the research as a subcontract.

Several projects in the lab at are various stages in the commercialization process:
  • The ELIXYS 3-reactor automated radiosynthesizer and unit-operation based programming interface has been commercialized and is being sold by Sofie Biosciences, Inc. Click here to view the product webpage.

  • EWOD-chip based radiosynthesizer: currently undergoing commercial development with Sofie Biosciences, Inc. (under the name PHENYX)
