Pacifichem 2021 Conference

I co-organized a symposium related to radiopharmaceuticals at Pacifichem 2021 (December 16-21, 2021, virtual conference) on "Innovative Technologies for Production, Purification, Analysis and in Vitro Evaluation of Radiopharmaceuticals". Details can be found on the virtual conference platform.

Our group had a number of oral presentations at the conference, covering recent progress of multiple projects in our lab:

  • Novel flexible pipetting-based automated system for microscale radiosynthesis (Yingqing Lu)

  • Recent advances in automated droplet radiochemistry (Jia Wang)

  • First metal-catalyzed synthesis of [18F]FDOPA in a microreactor (Yingqing Lu)

  • Metabolic measurements in small cell populations or individual cells using Betabox (Arion Hadjioannou, collaborator)

  • Miniaturized analysis of radiopharmaceuticals via microchip electrophoresis (Jason Jones)

  • Rapid method for optimization of TLC separation resolution for the quantitative and high-throughput analysis of radiopharmaceuticals (Travis Holloway)

  • Rapid purification and formulation of microfluidically-produced radiopharmaceuticals via thin-layer chromatography (TLC) (Travis Holloway)

  • High-throughput approaches for the optimization and analysis of radiopharmaceuticals (Alejandra Rios)

  • Development of a high-throughput platform for automated and efficient droplet-radiochemistry optimization (Jason Jones)

Congratulations to our group member Alejandra Rios who was selected as one of the 40 (out of 1400) Student Research Competition winners!

The conference has ended but our video-on-demand presentations are available until Jan 31, 2022 on the digital conference platform: https://pacifichem.digitellinc.com/pacifichem.
